sled dogging or dog sledding

went dog sledding in hayward, wi. it was so fun! i've always wanted to dog sled so i've officially checked this one off the list. my favorite dog was yukon (like yukon cornelius in rudolf). he ended up being the smarty pants leader of the pack. very nice, smart and docile... unlike the alpha males. need i say more? oh, and they eat frozen beaver steaks for lunch. beaver-sicles!

kettlebells

grrrr. i started kettlebell classes through m|w. it's like yoga-pilates-weights. it's fun. i haven't dropped/thrown the kettleball yet so i think i'm doing good.

ice bar

got a martini at the ice bar at the chambers hotel. it was super strong but fun! there's a cool square fire pit outside with glass pieces lining the bottom. they have some nice art there and a really cool restaurant. i must say, i looked cuter in my white russian fur get-up than the bartender did. :)

the bears

get ready for the superbowl shuffle! grrrrrr. we were going to learn the shuffle - but it's actually very easy. just step side to side. done! oh, and wear hot sunglasses and turn on your fog machine. cool, dude!

johnny cash

the ring of fire. seems like a great first post. we went to the johnny cash tribute concert last night at the cabooze. it was fabulous! sherwin linton and his wife pam played the part of johnny and june. it was awesome! i almost got in my first fight too. a lady was pushing me. she was a stinker.
